An Italian teenager is in hospital after he was hit by a car in St Julian’s early this morning, the police said.

The 18-year-old was hit by an Opel Corsa driven by a 41-year-old of Kalkara at 3.30am in George Borg Olivier Street.

He was taken to hospital where he was found to be suffering from grievous injuries but is not in critical condition.
