Justice and Culture Minister Owen Bonnici still refuses to say how much Ira Losco's Eurovision coat cost, however said it was much less than the sums mentioned in the media and social media.
"These are funds which came through PBS advertising, he said, and not public funds".
He was responding to a number of questions posed by PN MPs Clyde Puli and David Agius.
A number of questions relating to the Eurovision song contest were made, and Dr Bonnici said that the contest this year, thanks to Ira Losco's presence, brought in 120% more advertising than the previous year.
He refused to say how much was spent or earned though, citing commercial sensitivity, adding that participation in the contest was paid for by the funds earned through advertising.
