Fortunato Mizzi’s house in Valletta to become a political museum

A parliamentary session this afternoon approved the proposal for a house in St John Street, Valletta, to be converted into a political museum. The residence used to house political giants Fortunato and Nerik Mizzi.

The 15-minute Parliamentary session approved the transfer of the property which is until today owned by the government, on a 30-year emphyteusis to the Nerik Mizzi Foundation.

Parliament also unanimously approved the transfer of a property in Mgarr Road, Ghajnsielem to Lourdes Home.

Today's session was the last before summer recess. Parliament adjourned and will resume on October 10.
