A man managed to climb out of an empty well he had fallen into in spite of injuries sustained, the police said this morning

The 62-year-old fell into an empty well in his residence in Triq il-Lellux, Ghaxaq.

The man was on a ladder which broke, and he ended up in the well.

Although he came back up, on his own, he was taken to hospital and certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
