A Swiss teenager was seriously injured today when jumping into the sea at St Peter’s Pool in Marsaxlokk, the police said.

The 18-year-old was first assisted by members of the Armed Forces of Malta before being taken to hospital.

He was found to be suffering grievous injuries but he is not in critical condition, the police said.
