Tax-Xema bay again fit for bathing; health warning lifted

The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health wishes to notify that following repeated sampling of seawater carried out on a daily basis during the last few days, the bathing site at Tax-Xema, St. Paul's Bay is once again fit for bathing.

They said that the health warning is hereby being lifted.

The warning was issued last Thursday, after reports of sewage overflow.

For further information on the quality of bathing water, the public is kindly requested to contact the Health Inspectorate Services between 8.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. on telephone number 2133 7333, or by calling personally at its offices at Continental Business Centre, Old Railway Track, Sta.
