An emergency landing took place this morning at 10:25 after a freighter aircraft had issues with its nose gear, the MIA said.
A spokesperson from Malta International Airport confirmed that the incident took place this morning at 10.25am. The aircraft, registration number 3V857, was coming from Tunis when it declared “a full emergency” due to the above issue.
“Malta International Airport’s Fire and Rescue team were dispatched immediately and the aircraft, with two crew on board, landed safely at 10.44am,” said the spokesperson.
