A meeting was held today between Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis and the Chamber of Commerce, led by Anton Borg and the tourism section.

Air Malta cjhairperson Maria Micallef was also present.

The minister once again categorically denied the airline will become a feeder airline.

The government's absolute priority will be to safeguard the future of the airline, tourism and the network of routes that is having so positive results.

The minister promised he will keep the Chamber informed of any development that aims at guaranteeing the commercial viability of the airline.
