A driver was seriously hurt early this morning after the car he was driving crashed into a wall in Burmarrad Road, Burmarrad, the police said.

The 44-year-old man was on his way to St Paul’s Bay at 3.50am when he lost control of the vehicle, crashed into a parked car and then onto a wall.

He was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered grievous injuries but is not in critical condition.
