Four persons were injured yesterday evening after a head-on crash on the Marsa by-pass in Marsa, the police said.

A Kia Pride driven by a 19-year-old of Birkirkara jumped over the centre strip and crashed into a Toyota Yaris being driven by a 33-year-old of Kercem in the opposite direction.

Two young men both aged 19 and both of Birkirkara were in the same car as the other teenager. One of the passengers suffered grievous injuries but is not in critical condition.

The other three men involved in the accident suffered minor injuries.
