Many held pink balloons as a symbol throughout the walk.

Pink October's primary aim is to spread awareness about breast cancer and empower both women and men by educating them about this disease. In Malta, over 300 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.

Funds collected will be used to make breast cancer cure a little less cumbersome with the funding of medical machinery for breast cancer treatment.
