The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) said it has become aware of an entity operating under the name Provident Capital Management, which is known to have an internet presence at http://www.provident-trading.com/ and which, according to information available to the MFSA, appears to be offering investment and/or other financial services to Maltese consumers.

The MFSA hereby informs the public, in Malta and abroad, that the above-mentioned entity is NOT a company registered in Malta NOR is it an entity licenced or otherwise authorised by the MFSA to provide any type of financial service.

The MFSA strongly advises consumers of financial services not to enter into any financial services transaction unless they have ascertained that the entity with whom the transaction is being made is authorised to provide such services by the MFSA or another financial services regulator.
