Speed camera 'catches' 4,421 vehicles on St Paul’s by-pass in 2016

4,421 motor vehicles have been fined for overspeeding on the St Paul’s by-pass in 2016.

Responding to a parliamentary question put forward by MP Censu Galea, Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government Owen Bonnici provided the information which indicated that 2081 cars and 2160 motorcycles had been caught by the speed cameras on the road.

According to the document, each month barring January (280) experiences at least 400 speeding violations, with July being the highest month with 574 offences.
