A Syrian construction worker died this afternoon after he fell from a height in Mosta.

The police said the incident took place at around 4pm in Triq Rużar Briffa.

Preliminary investigations showed that the man fell four storeys down into a shaft in a construction site. He was certified dead on site.

The police are investigating the case.
