Minister for Competitiveness Emanuel Mallia and Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo visited 'Budding Rockstars', an educational conference on tech entrepreneurship for high achieving 5th formers from all secondary schools in Malta and Gozo.

130 students, who engaged in discussion panels featuring business leaders, aspiring entrepreneurs and support experts, participated in the event.

Dr Mallia discussed entrepreneurship with high profile business men, students, mentors and organisers. He encouraged students to 'pursue their dreams'. 

Both Ministers visited hands -on workshops organised by The Edward Debono Foundation on creativity and innovation aimed at igniting the entrepreneurship spark.

The various student workshops presented their entrepreneurial ideas to a judging panel made up of leading policy makers and business men.

Minister Mallia and Minister Bartolo praised this initiative by the Malta Communications Authority, in partnership with the Education Directorates and the University of Malta.
