Monday, 5 December 2016, 16:09 Last update: about 8 years ago

The historical, narrow streets of Rabat will soon become a magical Christmas wonderland that you would be a fool not to visit this week. Rows of decorated wooden stalls along some of the most sought after streets in Rabat will make up the annual Christmas market that is coming to town for the first time this year.

A number of guided tours will also be making the Franciscan Friary accessible to the general public, with the possibility of experiencing the peaceful atmosphere that reigns within their secret garden. The Malta Christmas Carol Festival at the Franciscan church will be featuring some of Malta's best choirs in an elegant evening of classic Christmas carols.
