On the request of Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, Id-Dar tal-Providenza is going to ensure that all workers are paid the same for equal jobs and that there is no discrimination. 

With effect from 1 December 2016, all community workers seconded to any of its locations will be given an allowance equal to the difference between the minimum wage that they are earning as employees of the Community Workers Scheme Enterprise Foundation and what they would be earning in their equivalent grade as employees of Id-Dar tal-Providenza. 

This allowance will be paid by Id-Dar tal-Providenza on a monthly basis and included as part of its payroll process.
