New Principals appointed at Deloitte Malta

Deloitte has announced the appointment of Caroline Cassar Reynaud and Emmanuel Farrugia to the position of Principal within the firm, with effect from 1 December.

Caroline will retain her role as Head of Talent and Communications, while Emmanuel will be a Principal within the audit department.

Caroline joined the firm in 1998 after graduating in Business Management from the University of Malta and has since occupied various leading roles within the firm's Internal Client Services functions ranging from Marketing, Digital and Social Media as well as Human Resources and Talent.


In 2014, Caroline took on the role of Head of Talent and Communications with the primary responsibility of leading the Human Resource function. As HR leader for the Malta firm, Caroline will continue to work closely with the Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer in rolling out strategic initiatives that allow Deloitte Malta to recruit, develop and retain its most important resource, its people.

Emmanuel joined the firm's audit function in 2004 after graduating with a B. Accountancy (Hons.) degree from the University of Malta.

Emmanuel has more than 10 years' practical knowledge and audit experience in various industries including manufacturing, retail, food distribution, remote gaming, mobile telecommunications, oil and gas and hospitality.

Emmanuel has participated in short-term secondments at Deloitte Dublin and Deloitte Glasgow offices. Aside from providing audit and assurance services, Emmanuel has also undertaken a number of advisory assignments.
