The next election will be held around March next year, Prime Minister Joseph Muscat said on radio today.
Speaking on Djalogu on One Radio, Dr Muscat said that the Labour Party’s programme will be the next step of the journey Malta has embarked upon in 2013.
The Labour Party should be re-elected because it had kept it promises and will continue to build on what has been achieved so far.
He expressed his disappointment about the Panama Papers scandal but pstressed that the objectives had been achieved on the economy, jobs, investment, health and education. It also lowered water and electricity bills.
The people will also be passing judgment on the Nationalist Party, he said.
