PN presents economic policy at Chamber of Commerce

"Our ultimate goal is that our country continues moving from one success to another by creating more and better paid jobs and working conditions" Shadow Economy Minister Claudio Grech said in a meeting with Malta Trade at the Chamber of Commerce were he presented the PN economic document entitled 'Economy for the People'.

The Nationalist Party will continue to submit further proposals aimed at evolving the country's economy to meet the global challenges ahead, he went on to say.

 The meeting was also attended by the Spokesperson for Financial Services, IT and Gaming Kristy Debono, and general election candidates and Liam Sciberras and Dorian Sciberras.

 During the meeting, the delegation of the Nationalist Party presented a series of proposals which they claim will transform the country into a main commercial center in the European Union.

 The measures, Mr Grech explained, are based on three elements.

The first is strengthen the commercial profile and competitive framework of the country, the second is evolving the country's main economic sectors (such as financial services, IT, and Tourism), and the third involves a completely new model designed for SMEs

Kristy Debono explained how the proposals being made by the Nationalist Party are intended to incentivize local and foreign investment.

"The Nationalist Party has a clear vision of how wants to see the country's economy is growing and bring it with all key partners," said Kristy Debono.

Dorian Sciberras said that the economic model presented by the Nationalist Party will create more wealthy and sustainable economy, whilst Liam Sciberras stressed that it was an economic policy designed for the people since it was fine tuned through a wide consultation process.
