“I started from a discrepancy of 12points and today I closed that gap to 3%.” This was said by Leader of the Opposition and Nationalist Party Simon Busuttil when interviewed on INDEPTH by The Malta Independent News Editor Rachel Attard.
Dr Busuttil was answering a question regarding the surveys that the political parties conduct from time to time to gauge their current standing. He said that he started with a disparity of 36,000 votes in the last election and narrowed this gap to a 3% difference.
