MaltaPost staff members awarded for their hard work and outstanding performance in 2016

A number of excellence awards were presented to MaltaPost staff members in recognition for their hard work and outstanding performance in 2016 during the Company's Annual Staff meeting.

In his address, MaltaPost's Chairman Joseph Said presented the 2016 financial and quality results. He also highlighted the Company's commitment to enhance its services to facilitate e-commerce business and identify new opportunities for new investment and further areas for growth.

The awards were presented by Mr Said together with MaltaPost's Chief Executive Officer Joseph Gafa' and Ronald Bonnici, Chief Human Resources Officer, who congratulated the winners whilst thanking all the Company's staff for their hard work throughout 2016.

During this ceremony, MaltaPost also recognised the best Student of the MCAST Diploma in Postal Services. This course was launched together with Malta College of Arts Science and Technology and is intended to provide a new source of trained postal staff members.

The awards presented were as follows:

Best Employee Delivery - Kurt Debono, Antoine Baldacchino

Best Employee Central Mail Room - Larkien Zammit

Best Employee Courier - Silvana Camilleri

Best Employee Administration - Antoinette Bonavia

Best Postal Area Group - Central Mail Room, Marsa

Best Post Office - Paola Post Office

Best Retail Employee - Joanne Pace

Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award - Marsa Delivery Centre

Long Service Award - Doreen Mizzi - Over 25 Years , Arthur Portelli - Over 35 Years, Emanuel Rapa - Over 40 Years

Best Student MCAST Diploma in Postal Services: Chantelle Balzan
