Heritage Malta, through the National Museum of Natural History, is launching a wildlife photography competition with the aim of promoting the islands' biodiversity. This initiative is being organised in response to the increasing number of wildlife photographic enthusiasts.
The competition is open to all Maltese and non-Maltese individuals. It is important that the photographs have been taken locally. All photographs will be judged by a panel of professional and renowned wildlife photographers. The closing date for submission of photographs is 30 April.
Following the awards ceremony later in the year, a two-month exhibition of the best entries will be held at the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina.
