The police are investigating a hold-up on a lotto booth in Rabat this afternoon.
The hold-up took place at 4.45pm in St Paul’s Street, the police said in a statement.
A man wearing a hoodie and sunglasses, armed with a knife, entered the lotto both and demanded money from the 58-year-old shop assistant, a woman of Rabat.
He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Magistrate Josette Demicoli is conducting an inquiry.
