A 25-year-old man from Zebbug has been hospitalized after he was hit by a car in St Julian’s earlier today.

The police said the accident took place at around 3:15pm in George Borg Olivier Street.

The man was hit by a Citroen C1 that was being driven by a woman from Gzira. It is understood that the accident took place at a point where the pavement is blocked by construction works.

The condition of the victim is not yet known.
