‘The Nationalist Party should speak more often in favour of LGBTIQ rights,’ transgender PN candidate Alex Mangion said on Indepth.

Interviewed by The Malta Independent news editor Rachel Attard, Mr Mangion said that when the PN is speaking publicly about these rights it is showing that the party really changed.  

Mr Mangion emphasised that the PN should more vociferous on what it will be doing about gay and transgender persons. He added that if the party does this it will continue to attract more LGBTIQ persons to the party. 

Mr Mangion said that: “I strongly believe that the PN is not a conservative party because inside it there are a rainbow of views and people from different walks of life.”
