A Maltese national has been arrested in Albania after being found with 36 kg of Cannabis, Kosovar newspaper Gazeta Express has reported.

Ronald Galea, 45, was arrested  in Kapshticë after Border Police located 79 packages of cannabis beneath the floor of his car, a Ford, the newspaper said.

Police have charged the man with attempted drug trafficking.
