Travel blog day 1 (by Romina Dyer):
On our first day we visited the Sparkletini and Verdi manufacturing plant where we were given a detailed step by step explanation as to how Sparkletini and Verdi are produced from the initial stages till it is bottled and boxed. After our vist we had dinner in Nizza Monferrato.
Travel blog day 2:
On our second day we visited the region of Barolo in Piemonte, we walked through this very small village, visited the Barolo wine museum and drove along the Barolo vineyards. We had lunch close by in a village called Costigliole. We then visited another small village called Alba where we met an archeologist who took us for a walking tour through the streets of Alba even through the underground streets of Alba where there are still remains of old towers and buildings. We also visited some truffle shops which are very typical in this village and had dinner in the heart of Alba.
Travel blog day 3:
On the last day of our stay, we visited the city of Turin where we toured the busy streets, visited the museum of cinematography and went up to the top of the Mole Antonelliana tower and had lunch right after. In the evening we visited the Bosca Unesco World heritage cellars where we given a private tour of the cellars by Pia Bosca herself and we also tasted the renowned Riserva del Nonno Spumante which is still made in these very cellars till this day. Then we went for our final dinner in Moasca.
All of our meals centred around typical Piemontese food and everything was perfectly paired with Spumantes and Wines produced by Bosca Spa themselves.
