The Labour Party Deputy Leader, Chris Cardona, accompanied by PL MP Michael Falzon have said that PN leader Simon Busuttil cannot keep hiding behind the scandal without taking action against Beppe Fenech Adami.

The PL MPs were referring to the Capital One investigations into the PN deputy leader after allegations that police investigations came to a hlt when Beppe Fenech Adami's name came up.

"This is something very serious and Simon Busuttil must take action," they added.

In a reaction, the PN deputy leader said that Joseph Muscat is politically desperate. "After two weeks repeating the same thing, the labour party now turns to twist another lie," Fenech Adami said while saying that the investigation had confirmed he never interferred.
