Nine dogs, two barn owls removed from house in Fgura animal welfare operation

Officers from the Animal Welfare Directorate yesterday removed nine mistreated dogs from a property in Fgura.

This newspaper is informed that the owner was warned at least twice by the AWD to improve the living conditions of the dogs but no action was taken.

Escorted by police officers and health officials, the AWD removed eight puppies and an adult dog from the premises, along with two barn owls.
