A Romanian was found in a pool of blood in St Paul’s Bay yesterday evening, the police said this morning.

The man – the age and place of residence was not given – was discovered at 7.15pm in Triq il-Korp tal-Pijunieri.

He was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

The police did not give the nature of his wounds.
