Gastronomic sensory dining experience with a percentage of sales donated to the Blind Society Malta

Celebrity chef Helfred van Malkenhorst, accompanied by San Andrea head chef Chris Ellul, will take guests in an unforgettable dining journey "in the dark" on Wednesday, 26 April. The four-course meal will provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy an outrageous sensory and social experience.

"We are pleased to be reversing the typical situation by putting our guests in an enjoyable situation where they lose one's sense, thus getting a chance to think about the world of blind people," said Keith Psaila, managing director at Palazzo Castelletti.

During dinner every sensual moment will be packed with taste, touch, feel and sound. By focusing on every element of a bite, sans sight, food seems to taste better. Dining in the dark "opens your eyes" to the distractions of ingredients and how something looks. It also helps eliminate multi-tasking, eye contact and texting to help you focus solely on the cuisine.

Palazzo Castelletti boasts three top-notch restaurants: the San Andrea à la carte restaurant, RedWhite Pizza, Pasta and Grill and Trois Wine Bar, which are all rated among the top in Malta by various dining reviews.
