‘The Nationalist Party unfortunately has a leader who is not capable to lead, and today this party is being run by Marlene Farrugia and Daphne Caruana Galizia, Labour Party candidate and tv presenter Jean Claude Micallef said.

Interviewed by The Malta Independent news editor Rachel Attard on INDEPTH, Mr Micallef said that, “the situation within the PN is that Dr Busuttil is a puppet on a string in the hands of Dr Farrugia and Mrs Caruana Galizia and these two are pulling the him in various directions. The consequence of this is that the party has no direction at all.”

The PL candidate said, “that the PN has an internal crisis and I tried in the past years to give my help. This can be vouched by my friends and colleagues with in the PN executive.”

 

Mr Micallef with be contesting the third district, (Ghaxaq, Zejtun, Marsaxlokk and Marsascala).
