United States President has completely ignored Malta in his first 100 days in office, according to a report on the BBC.
The report lists 47 countries with which Trump has had some form of contact since taking office in January, but Malta is not one of them.
It gives information about the number of meetings Trump had with the leaders of the different countries, the number of phone calls he made or had with them, and the number of tweets that he posted referring to situations in that country.
Needless the say, influential countries like the United Kingdom, China, Russia, Germany and Canada featured more than others.
Jordan’s King Abdullah was the only leader to meet Trump twice in these 100 days and, since Panama is very much on everyone’s lips in Malta these days, it must be pointed out that Trump did at least give a call to their Prime Minister, Juan Carlos Varela.
