Interested? The ‘maduma’ or the ‘torca’ on your finger-nails

Thursday, 11 May 2017, 13:28 Last update: about 8 years ago

Nail technicians have sprung on the opportunity to make a quick buck from the election campaign by providing devoted followers with designs that would shine at any mass rally or taht it-tinda activity.

The emblems of the two major parties – the maduma and the torca – could find themselves on finger-nails, accompanied by a bright blue or red depending on the political party of allegiance.

The photos above have been doing the rounds on the social media.

It is regrettable, that much like parliamentary seats, Alternattiva Demokratika and Partit Demokratika have missed out on the trend, possibly due to the lack of eco-friendly nail polish being readily available for the technicians. Unless, of course, we’ve missed them. If they do exist, do send us the photos on [email protected]

Just in case anyone wants to pursue an unbiased fashion statement, do not be afraid to combine the two, maybe one hand blue and the other hand red, and possibly add flares of green and orange for good measure.
