Nazzareno Bonnici, commonly known as Zaren tal-Ajkla, has refused an invitation to make an appearance on a televised event organized by the Broadcasting Authority.

The authority today informed the media that recording with two independent candidates – apart from Mr Bonnici, the invitation was also extended to Joseph Aquilina – had been invited for a recording on Saturday.

Mr Bonnici has however refused the invitation.
