Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi was called back by Speaker Anglu Farrugia to kiss the Cross as he had not done so the first time.
Mizzi, at the centre of controversy over his Panama company in the previous legislature, did not kiss the Cross when taking oath in Parliament this morning (see video above).
After all ministers and parliamentary secretaries had taken their oath to the country and Constitution, Speaker Farrugia admitted to not having offered Mizzi the Cross to be kissed.
He called Mizzi back to take the oath again, this time the minister kissing the Cross to complete the procedure.
