The Clarinet Trio, a US Air Forces in Europe ensemble, and the Armed Forces of Malta Clarinet Quartet showcased their talents on two occasions during joint performances. 

On July 6, guests enjoyed the ensembles during the official US Independence Day celebrations hosted by Ambassador G. Kathleen Hill.  On 7 July, The Clarinet Trio, US Air Forces in Europe ensemble, and the Armed Forces of Malta Clarinet Quartet performed in Mesquita Square, Mdina. 

US military bands have been visiting and performing in Malta for several years, entertaining local audiences with American classics.  The musicians in the United States Air Forces in Europe bands seek to promote better understanding between all people of the world, living up to their reputation as 'America's International Musical Ambassadors'.
