INDEPTH: PN campaign should not have been based only on corruption issues – Perici Calascione

Thursday, 20 July 2017, 15:15 Last update: about 8 years ago

The Nationalist Party campaign should not have been based solely on the allegations of corruption that plagued the Labour administration, Alex Perici Calascione, one of the four contestants for the PN leadership, said.

Interviewed by The Malta Independent online editor Stephen Calleja for INDEPTH, Perici Calascione said it would have been wrong for the party to ignore corruption, but at the same time it should have given more space to its proposals.

The PN had a long list of very good proposals for the country, but these ended up always being overshadowed by Labour’s misdeeds, Perici Calascione said.

The full interview will be uploaded tomorrow.
