Road works in Lija will continue throughout tonight and tomorrow night, Transport Malta has said.

Whilst road works are being carried out during the day in the service road in Ħal Lija as previously advised,

tonight and tomorrow night works will be carried out on the zebra crossing. Triq il-Mosta will be closed to traffic between 7pm and 5 am direction from Mosta to Birkirkara and between 10 pm and 5 am direction from Birkirkara to Mosta.

Tomorrow and Wednesday 26, works will be carried out on the existing roundabout.  Triq il-Mosta will be closed to traffic direction from Mosta to Birkirkara between 7 pm and 5 am.  Traffic close to the roundabout will proceed on one lane.

Between Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 July, scarifying and asphalting works will be carried out.  Triq il-Mosta will be closed to traffic direction from Mosta to Birkirkara between 7 pm and 5 am.

Drivers are advised to drive carefully, seek alternative routes and follow instructions by officials on site.
