Multigas Ltd donates equipment to MCAST

Multigas Ltd. is proud to support Malta's future professionals currently studying atthe MCAST Institute of Engineering and Transport.

On Wednesday 12 July 2017Multigas Ltd donated equipment to be used in the Mechanical Engineering andBuilding and Construction Engineering departments.The equipment donated consisted of TIG Welding apparatus Helvi COMPACT360AC/DC, used to weld thin sections of stainless steel and non-ferrous metals, and aPlasma Cutting Machine Helvi x753n, used to cut different types of metals of differentthicknesses with extreme precision and negligible distortion. Multigas complementedthis donation by including a quantity of HILCO top-quality welding consumables.

Both pieces of equipment are state-of-the-art industry staples which will allowstudents to gain valuable experience, ensuring they will be prepared to meet anychallenges that will arise in their future workplaces.

"This sponsorship is an expression of Multigas' mission to support the weldingprofession in Malta, by building further on our long-term relationship with theeducation sector and enabling students to develop their full potential" explainedMark Asciak, Commercial Manager of Multigas.

Empowering local students with the latest technologies during their training willallow them to achieve higher levels of expertise, making for a well-prepared futureworkforce. These machines will also be used during the full-time courses as well asthe part-time programmes for industry.
