Roads in Santa Venera area to be closed Saturday night for fireworks show

Some roads surrounding St Venera will be closed this coming Saturday, 29 July, for the village feast's fireworks show.

In a press release, the police informed that between 9.30 pm and 11.30pm, some arterial roads will be closed for the Santa Venera feast firework spectacle.

 

The following roads will be closed;

Imriehel bypass in the direction towards Marsa (near the MFSA offices).

Marsa bypass from Triq Aldo Moro. (Triq Aldo Moro will remain open to traffic).

The Marsa bypass in the direction towards the St. Venera tunnel in the direction of the Mriehel bypass.

Triq il-Kbira San Guzepp in St. Venera, and part of Triq il-Kbira San Guzepp in Hamrun.

Triq il-Kanun, St. Venera.

 

Instead, the public can make use of the following roads:

Triq Salvu Psaila, St. Venera.

Triq il-Kappillan Mifsud, St.Venera.

Triq il-Wied ta' Birkirkara, Msida

Triq Misraħ il-Barrieri, St. Venera.

Triq l-Imdina, Birkirkara.

Triq Aldo Moro, Marsa.

Triq Diċembru Tlettax, Marsa.

The St. Venera tunnels (in the direction of the Marsa bypass).

 

It is also to be brought to the public's attention that those driving southwards on the Imriehel bypass, including in the direction of the airport, should find an alternative route, for example through Haz Zebbug.
