Busuttil meets up with four PN leadership hopefuls, says he will ensure election is fair

Outgoing PN Leader Simon Busuttil this afternoon met up with the four candidates who are running to be the new leader of the Nationalist Party, at his office at the party headquarters.

According to a press release from the party, Busuttil congratulated the four candidates; Chris Said, Frank Portelli, Adrian Delia and Alex Perici Calascione, and said that he will personally ensure that the election is a fair and transparent one, which will give the same opportunity to all candidates.

On Saturday 2 September, the General Council election will select two candidates to move on to the election by the General Convention, which will be held on Saturday 16 September. The first election will continue on Sunday 3 September if another round of voting is necessary.
