PN leadership hopeful Adrian Delia believes that party media should extend its horizons with regards to audience, rather than catering for those who are already 'convinced'.

Speaking in an interview on Radio 101 this afternoon, Delia spoke about the role of party media as well as the importance that party committee member and councilors plays with regards to the party's strategy.

According to a press release, Delia said that the party media "needs to open its horizons to everyone and not merely serve the exclusive club of those already convinced." He then expressed his disappointment at the decision taken by the party administration for phone-lines not to be open during such programs in order for people to freely express their thoughts.

"If I have the privilege to lead the party I ensure media open for everyone," he said. He then went on to provide a plan for the PN media to become more viable within a three-year-long period, according to the press release.  He explained that a group of experts in broadcasting prepared a plan which he will submit to the party if he becomes leader. He added that the plan also includes the creation of an 'Academy of Media'.

Delia then stated his belief that the PN should be run with more involvement of the party committee and councilors.

" We need to give members of the party's committee the space to talk and learn people's aspirations, as they are the individuals best acquainted to them. How can it be that these people are left aside instead of being given the red carpet leading to the heart of the strategy of the party?"

"I believe that we need to open our doors and windows wide and not be afraid of the current entering and giving a new air to our party," said Delia, in line with his campaign slogan 'A New Way'.
