The 37th edition of the Farsons Beer Festival kicked off last night at the Ta' Qali National Park, and runs until Sunday, 6 August. The festival is sponsored by Vodafone and supported by XFM 100.2 and Wall's Ice Cream.
The festival offers over 50 local and international beers, no less than 70 local artists and performances across three stages and a revamped food court offering a choice of restaurants over 10 days.
Yesterday saw William Mangion & Band, as well as Claudia Faniello take the main stage. The rock stage saw tunes by Noogie's Crew, A Broken Design and Xtruppaw. The Blues N Brews Stage hosted Vinyl Paradise and Chris Tanti
The stars of the festival are undoubtedly the beers, and the choice of brands includes Cisk and Farsons Classic Brews, international brands Carlsberg, Budweiser, Corona and Guinness, speciality and craft international beers such as St Austell, Leffe, Baladin and more as well as Bulmer's and Strongbow ciders.
