BOOST DIESEL - PROFILE

Boost Premium Quality Diesel is one of Malta's leading automotive fuels and is available in 28 service stations across Malta and Gozo. There are currently two Boost Diesel products in the local market:

Boost Premium 55 and Boost Premium Plus 60

PREMIUM QUALITY PRODUCTS

Both the Boost Premium 55 and the Boost Premium Plus 60 contain a higher cetane number of 55 and 60 respectively in comparison to the traditional diesel.  These higher cetane numbers express a superior ignition quality that define how easily the fuel will ignite when it is injected into the cylinder. The lower the fuel's cetane number, the longer it takes to reach ignition point.

The benefits of using a high cetane diesel are mainly the following:

Quicker Starting, Faster Acceleration, Improved Fuel Efficiency, More Complete Combustion, Less Engine Noise & Knocking, Lower Exhaust Emissions.
