New, more accessible offices for the Valletta 2018 Foundation

The V18 Foundation has moved into its new, more accessible offices right next door to the main Chamber of Commerce building in Valletta.

V18 Foundation Chairman Jason Micallef led a tour of the new offices for Culture Minister Owen Bonnici and Parliamentary Secretary for Valletta 2018 Deo Debattista.

Minister Bonnici stressed that the Foundation's old offices were not as accessible as the new venue. "We wanted an area which was easily accessible for persons with disability and the elderly."

He stressed that V18 must not be an event which concludes once it finishes, like a firework, but must leave a legacy. He stressed that government is working to leave a strong cultural infrastructure, and as an example, mentioned the MUZA project.

Debattista stressed that V18 is a project for all of Malta, and not just one for Valletta, adding that V18 will keep bearing fruit in the years to come.
