Animal charity could cancel surgeries after theft of two air conditioning units

An animal charity says it might have to postpone its services and cancel all surgeries after two air conditioning units were stolen from its premises in Marsa.

The Happy Paws Charity Organisation, which has treated over 15,000 animals, said its services were essential for people managing stray colonies of animals.

The AC units were stolen last night. “This may require us to shut down our services and cancel all surgeries until this is sorted out,” the charity said.

“As we are a charity organization, we do not have the financial means to replace the equipment right away.”

The group is asking for information that could lead to the culprit and the return of the equipment so that it can resume its services to the community.
