The Couple: Laureen & Clint

24 July 2016
Laureen Spiteri, 33, Sales & Operation Manager at Tunin Entertainment and Clint Agius, 35, Technical Architect (I.T.) held their ceremony at St Matthew’s Chapel, Qrendi before a reception at Falconry Malta, Siggiewi

Love is a great feeling and when a man is in love nothing will stop him from reaching his goal. It took two years for Clint to win Laureen over with his love. It was love at first sight when he saw her that very first time at a house party, but Laureen was not an easy catch. Eventually she decided to give their relationship a try, it was the best decision ever. After four years together Clint proposed. He wanted to make things extra special and proposed in front of a lot of people, she was taken aback with surprise and could not believe her eyes. "I was so amused that saying yes straight away was not possible", laughed Laureen. He waited on his knees until she said yes. They were both excited and happy about what had just happened.

On July 24th, 2016, Laureen and Clint exchanged vows and were married at St Matthew's Chapel, in Qrendi. They wanted the church to be close to the reception venue which was the Malta Falconry, Siġġiewi.

The theme they choose was country and comfortable, the venue was perfect for such theme; the greenery of the venue added that extra country feeling.

Laureen chose a beautiful ivory dress with embroidered flowers that made the dress look very country like. She chose the dress from Wedding Bells almost immediately. Clint chose a classic light grey suit from Cefai Formal Wear and completed the comfortable look with a pair of Converse shoes.

They wanted their wedding to be unique and different and wanted their guests to be comfortable and enjoy the day. In fact, they pointed out in the invitations that it was a must to attend the wedding in comfortable shoes and attire.

Music played an important role in Clint and Laureen's wedding. "Various musicians played at the ceremony including Animae Gospel Choir and Ivan Borg on the saxophone at the church, followed by Yuri Charyguine on accordion, Swing Nuages, The Residents and Ramon Francalanza for the after party. All musicians were also provided by Tunin Entertainment explained Laureen. The first dance had a special meaning to the couple it was written by Laureen's brother Kris Spiteri. The song was called L-Imħabba (the love) in Maltese; it is definitely one of the moments Laureen and Clint will cherish forever.

They thanked their guests with sunflower seeds and a thank you card to complete the theme. After the wedding they went to the beautiful Greek island of Santorini for a perfect summer honeymoon.
