Shooting: Jason Sciberras wins All Malta Skeet event

Jason Sciberras was the overall winner of The All Malta Skeet event organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija the past weekend.

This event was held over 125 clays skeet, with the top six to qualify for the final stages.

Sciberras seemed to have improved his scores and his technique since he is now under the supervision of his coach Dr James Galea. The skeet event was conducted by MSSF RCO Grezzju Agius.

Sciberras placed 1st with 116/125 (ISSF MQS) - 19-27-35-44-53. Marcello Attard was 2nd with 108/125 -18-25-34-42-51 and third was Joe Muscat with 114/125 - 17-24-34-41.

Edwin Zammit placed 4th with 107/125 - 16-25-34. He was followed by Darren Vella with 113/125 - 15-23 and Marlon Attard 6th with 112/125 - 14.

William Chetcuti hits world record score to win All Malta Double Trap shoot

 

William Chetcuti won The All Malta Double Trap with a final world record of 79/80 organised on Saturday by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija. The Double trap event was conducted by Jimmy Bugeja.

Chetcuti placed 1st with 143/150 - 30-40-50-60-79/80. Second was Nathan Lee Xuereb with 137/150 - 27-37-47-57-74/80. Matthew Grech placed 3rd with 134/150 - 26-35-42-51/60

Fourth was Gianluca Chetcuti with 140/150 - 24-33-41/50
